ImageIn 2003, a surprisingly flawless remix of Mariah Carey's remake of the Def Leopard classic "Bringin On The Heartbreak" gained instant attention and created widespread buzz. People started asking, "Who is Ruanne?" Ruanne Emmenes, a DJ, song producer and audio engineer, exploded onto the London and New York scene three years ago. Since then, he has worked on countless dance productions alongside well known DJ's and song producers, such as Erick Morillo, Alex Alicea and John Kano. It is the homegrown African roots of this native South African that have contributed to his effortless affinity for the rhymes and rhythms of house music. Ladies and gentlemen, his talent is born, not bred. While working in London as head sound engineer at Ministry of Sound, his passion for music and ear for perfection lead him to start his own weekly radio show that was broadcast worldwide. The next phase of his career saw him fill the position of engineer and technical consultant for the acclaimed Erick Morillo. Here Ruanne's unbelievable talent and skill played a vital role in one of Erick's biggest projects to date. Then in 2003, this global nomad of the electronic horizons set his eyes and ambition on the beckoning skyline of New York. And to present day, this sprawling metropolis and adopted home is where Ruanne continues to work his special brand of magic. Whether in the studio, at home or spinning halfway around the world his mind is perpetually brooding over the next great beat he can surprise us with. Electing to study towards a degree in Recording Arts at Full Sail University, Orlando not only set the course for what will likely be a lifelong love affair with music but enhanced and extended Ruanne's already immeasurable talent as an underground House DJ by fine-tuning his eclectic style and further cultivating his uncanny feel for the newest and freshest sounds. And it is this unique and rare ability, which consistently keeps him two steps ahead of the pack.

Endorsed by label boss, Erick Morillo, Ruanne's new release on Subliminal Records, "I Got Something For You" featuring the sublime vocals of Sarah Tancer, has already generated widespread hype and attention. And it is sure to keep Ruanne's star firmly in the ascendant.
